Location
Assistive Listening Devices: Located against the outer glass wall in the lobby between the main entrance and the Will-Call entrance.
Disability Seating: Wheelchair and disability seating locations are available on both levels of the theater (see seating chart PDF for details). Patrons wishing to take advantage of these limited special seating locations are asked to telephone the box office at 208-426-1110 before purchasing tickets to a performance. A separate Accessibility page details all services and how to acquire such services.
Elevators: Located in the southeast corner of the Main Lobby access Level Two and Level Three. Note: only the paths to entries 1, 11 & 12 are free of stair steps.
Coat Check: Adjacent to the box office, main lobby.
Concessions and Bars: Concession stands are located in the lobby next to the riverside entrance and at either end of the second and third crossovers. The Morrison Center Bars are located in the Lobby opposite the Gift Shop and the second level just off the main staircase landing.
Restrooms: Facilities for both genders are available the far end of the main lobby, directly opposite the main entry doors as well as on the third level crossover. Two women's restrooms are located on the second level crossover. All restrooms are accessible to the disabled. Diaper-changing stations are located in the 1st level men's and the women's restrooms on both 2nd and 3rd levels.
ATM: Located next to the Box Office in the Main Lobby.
Timing
Doors: The Morrison Center lobby will be opened to the public one hour prior to the starting time of the event. The main auditorium will open for seating one half hour prior to the starting time of the event.
Late Seating: As a courtesy to the performers and other audience members, patrons who are not seated when the performance begins will be asked to wait at the auditorium doors until an appropriate break in the program. When possible, latecomers may be seated by the House Manager in available seats at the back of the auditorium until intermission. For your convenience, there will be a 5-minute chime reminder before the auditorium doors are closed.
Practice & Policy
Food and Beverages are not permitted inside the auditorium with the exception of bottled water sold through our concessions.
Alcohol Sales: The Center serves adult beverages on a per event basis, in compliance with criteria set forth by the State Board of Education. Valid ID will be required. Alcoholic beverages cannot be taken beyond the Main Entrance Plaza.
Cellular Phones, Beepers & Watch Alarms: As a courtesy to all patrons, we ask that you please silence these devices before the performance begins.
Emergency Contact Number: To contact patrons or theater staff during performances, please call 208-426-1609. Be sure to leave your seating section, seat numbers and the above phone number with the person who may need to contact you. Should an emergency arise, our House Manager will contact you at your seat.
Search & Confiscation: In order to maintain a safe and secure environment, all patrons entering the Center are subject to search. This ranges from visual inspection to electronic scan. Items deemed by management to be inappropriate may either be returned to your vehicle or are confiscated and tagged for pickup after the event. Any illegal item will be turned over to local law enforcement.
Parcels: All bags are subject to seach. Bookbags, purses, large bags and diaper bags larger than 12" x 10" are prohibited within the Auditorium. Patrons can return such items to their vehicle or check it into baggage check for a fee of $2.
Weapons: Actual weapons, or items deemed a potential weapon by Center security, are strictly prohibited.
Tickets for Children: Most contractual arrangements require that all children have tickets and separate seats. One exception are those productions specifically offered under the MC Family banner when children 2 years and younger may sit on an adult's lap free of charge. As a courtesy to audience members and performers, please use discretion regarding your child's ability to sit quietly and enjoy a performance.
Photography and Video Recording: Due to copyright laws, for most performances all cameras, tape recorders or any other recording devices are not permitted in the theater auditorium. Please call the Box Office, 208-426-1110 or Main Office, 426-1609 to check what the policy is for the performance you are attending. Offenders of this policy may be ejected and be liable for any copyright infringement damages and other lawful remedies.
Controlled Substances: Patrons appearing to under the influence of, or found to be in the possession of, any controlled substance will not be allowed entry.
Disruptive Patrons: Patrons of any age whose behavior is not appropriate will be asked to leave the theater. No refunds will be given once the show has begun.
Smoking: Smoking is not permitted in the Center at any time. Smoking is permitted outside of the building in designated smoking areas only. These are located at the Riverside and Parking lot entrance and the third level smoking porch.
First Aid: Emergency Medical Technicians are schedueled for all events. Two Automated External Defibrillators (AED) are on site.
Lost and Found: Lost and found articles will be held in the Main office for 30 days after the performance; after this time they will be either donated to Idaho Youth Ranch or otherwise disposed. Please contact the office at 208-426-1609 for information.
Theater Tours: Free tours of the Center for groups of any size can be schedule throughout the year by calling 426-1609.
