Reaching the Boise State University community
- BSU’s 18,500 student population is the largest in the state.
- BSU is one of the largest employers in the state with over 2,500 employees.
BSU Update – a bi-weekly e-newsletter reaching the BSU faculty and staff.
BSU Student Update – a bi-monthly e-newsletter reaching the BSU students. Update announcements must be deemed valueable to the student population.
BSU Spotlight – printed publication identifying all campus events for the coming month. This publication is distributed to all faculty and staff and free of charge to area residents upon request.
Reaching the local market
Targeted email blasts - The Morrison Center has developed a segmented OPT-IN email list that can be utilized by outside promoters. A charge of 15 cents per opened email will be charged at settlement. A report detailing the email's statistics will also be provided.
Group Sales - The Morrison Center has group sales contacts with all the area's major employers. In addition, we have a database of over 75 traditional group coordinators. Group sales can be done online in advance of the public on-sale or through our traditional email order form method. The Morrison Center charges 10% commission on all documented Morrison Center generated group sales.
Discount rates on local newspaper advertisements - Boise State University has contracted favorable advertising rates with local advertisers. Outside promoters can utilize our low rates provided camera ready artwork is supplied to Scott Bodmer at scottbodmer@boisestate.edu for submission to the newspaper. A commission of 15% will be added to all outside promoter newspaper advertisements submitted by the Morrison Center. An advertising settlement will be included in the Center's final settlement. See the attached spreadsheet for information on local ad rates and the local press.
The Morrison Center does not offer discounted rates on area radio or television stations.
